Stéphanie Comtesse de Lannoy was born on 18 February 1984, the youngest child of Belgian Ronse Comte Philippe de Lannoy and Alix della Faille de Leverghem. Both parents come from very old noble families. Surrounded by seven brothers and sisters grew up on the property in Anvaing d’Hainault.
Stéphanie de Lannoy completed her primary school in Dutch at the school, Sancta Maria in Ronse. It is followed by two years in the Collège Sainte-Odile in the north of France. Her secondary studies in 2002 concluded the Comtesse de la Vierge Fidele Institute in Brussels. At 18, Stéphanie de Lannoy takes a year to Moscow, where she enrolls for Russian language and literature. It uses the stay order also perfecting her violin playing.
In her study, Stephanie attended the Université catholique de Louvain, and there receives its license in Germanic with great distinction. They then assigned courses in Berlin and completes her studies with a dissertation on the influence of German romances on the Russian romance.
Then she throws herself into work, a training course makes the Walloon Export Agency in the Belgian embassy and then works in an investment company.
Music, literature and sport
Prince Guillaume and Stéphanie share many interests. Among others, their passion for classical music. Very soon she will start with the music teaching, learning piano and violin. Since her youth, she is also excited to read through their literature and language skills in French, German and English, many classics in the original.
The young woman volunteers her time and is making numerous trips with youth movements. When it comes to sports that meet their tastes: Like Stéphanie, Guillaume love swimming and skiing.
