The Royal Watcher - Madeleine is actually going back to Sweden. The family’s PR person (I’m blanking on his name right now) said that while she currently is in New York, she’ll be returning to Sweden shortly. He didn’t say how long she’d be there though. Maybe there just wasn’t enough time or notice for to immediately get back to Sweden.

I’ll wait to see what Madeleine does and how long she stays before commenting further. If she wants to live and work in New York, that’s fine, but Swedish taxpayers shouldn’t foot the bill for her to do so if she’s going to ignore Sweden. I realize she works with the World Childhood Foundation (or whatever its called) in New York, but that doesn’t mean she should be able to stay there and do so little for Sweden while getting her allowance or however its done, imo. I just think Madeleine and CP really need to step up during these new few months.
